Welcome to The Struggling Artist Podcast Channel. What started as a podcast about struggling creatively has evolved into a conglomerate of shows all focused-on creativity, mental health, and connection.

  • The Struggling Artist Podcast: The flagship show, where host Trev Allen has conversations with folks connected to the music world about music, creativity, and life struggles.

  • Struggling Artist Turntable: A monthly show devoted to recommending albums for the listeners to check out. Hosted by Trev Allen, Chris Chavez, Jeff Bousquet, and Michael Grattan.

  • Struggling with Ourselves: Trev Allen speaks on things he struggles with in his own mental health journey, as well as reads emails from listeners who also are struggling with something at that time.

  • Struggling Artist Spotlight: The Artist Spotlight is a traditional interview that promotes a new album for the artist.

  • The Struggling Artist Podcast Archive: A directory for Episode 1 - 251 and bonus episodes of the flagship show. Whether you want to revisit a favorite or go back to hear what you may have missed. The Archive is available.

  • Struggling Artist Record Club Recap: Trev Allen and Chris Chavez go over the previous month’s selection of the Struggling Artist Record Club. They read reviews from members of the record club as well. To join, click the link below, become a member, and start building that collection today.
